BEAR COTTAGE

Alimrose lovingly supports Bear Cottage, New South Wales’ only children’s hospice. Bear Cottage is located on the grounds of St Patricks Estate, Manly in Sydney. They offer both respite and palliative care to children & young people with life limiting illnesses & their families.
The location of Bear Cottage at Manly ensures children & families can rest in quiet surroundings or enjoy the attractions and amenities of one of Sydney’s traditional beach holiday destinations.

Families do not pay to stay at Bear Cottage. Bear Cottage was established entirely by the community. Receiving no government funding, the uniquely compassionate services, facilities and atmosphere of Bear Cottage are a testament to the power of community. By dedicating their time, effort and financial assistance, volunteers and donors ensure that Bear Cottage is able to continue to give the very best in care and support to families in need.

For Bear Cottage to continue providing services for children and families it needs to raise over $2.5 million per annum.

SAVE THE CHILDREN

We love what we do and get a lot of satisfaction out of designing gorgeous products & seeing them on babies and in homes everywhere. It is our pleasure to give a little bit back by proudly supporting many local charities.

In addition to this we also support the international Save the Children Fund, an incredibly important and worthwhile charity.

Save the Children is a charity that we feel passionately about. Save the Children Australia aims to ensure that all children, regardless of gender, race, country of origin or religious belief have the means for survival, receive protection and have access to nutrition, primary health care and basic education.

Save the Children fights for children's rights. They deliver immediate and lasting improvements to children's lives worldwide.

Save the Children fights on behalf of children, forcing their voices into the wider arena to make their needs heard and their rights recognised. They challenge abuse, misuse and ignorance. They fight not on a physical level, but an intellectual and emotional one.
